Sharing personal experiences that are non-mainstream, non-measurable, and already stigmatized seemed a little daunting, especially when the topic at hand is something that folks are generally afraid of — not because anything harmful was done to them in the listening, but because it was so separate, new, or threatening to their sense of reality that the natural thing for them to do is reject it. It also carries a heavy history of persecution, death, and elimination by leaders who saw it in action, and the echoes of those days still carries into modern times.
I’ve never been one to follow rules, but a good deal of discernment went into testing different online platforms, format, and content. Strangely, I landed on Medium, and then imported everything to Substack once I found it through another local entrepreneur.
In 2018, I tapped into what many call “oneness” and began transmitting multi-dimentional beings, universal energies, and a whole host of access to any form of frequency. I realized that this spontaneous expression of a different way of being has been labeled more recently as ‘light language’; or harmonic resonance, life force, and other terms by more seasoned folks.
Within a few months of integrating this craziness, I started to un-intentionally activate those around me or feel compelled to speak to strangers who I’d meet in shops and business conferences about things that moved them deeply. It was awkward to say the least, but these conversations all resulted in sharing something that the person was seeking in the moment. My trust in this behavior grew, and thus began my journey into learning from within.
By the end of the year, I started meeting folks who were already tapping into their gift, but hadn’t articulated it to themselves what it was; I’d be the one explaining to them what they were transitioning into. I geek out on education — whether it’s corporate leadership development or simply inner development work — and the repetitive nature of explaining the same thing to people inspired me to start compiling information into one place for educational purposes.
I began interviewing people who were already sharing their gifts publicly, and whose energies felt open and true. I created lists of ideas, topics and questions that were asked of me, and the gaps I saw in my explanations as well as those of others who were sharing this type of information in different ways.
During this time, I plugged out of political media, networking events, and investor gatherings to distill thought, experience, and emotions down to my own truth. The challenge: how to integrate this consciousness — this new way of being — into my own life.
Among my informal spiritual community, I was seeing the dissonance among members and my lack of interest in engaging with people who choose to segregate, blame and continue the path of separation. My inspiration came from people who were integrating their own wholeness by connecting with others and creating safe, delightful spaces for themselves, and therefore, for others.
So, after a good long while, I finally launched my podcast, Return to Wonder.
The podcast is both an educational platform as it is an open invitation for collaboration among light language practitioners; researchers studying energy, light and sound; visionary technologists; community leaders who understand the humanity in their corner of the world; creative artists who are open and curious; and children — those who remember and are navigating this world they chose to join. It’s a container where lived experiences are shared so others may find resonance — an acknowledgement, affirmation or permission in the telling — and a new pathway to expand their understanding of self and the world around them.
In this space at Substack, I’ll be sharing select episodes from the podcast where I find it relevant to share in readable format. This content is not meant for everyone, and I trust in the way universe operates for me.
Enjoy.
